On a consistent basis do not touch or praise pet when jumping on you, do not talk in excess to pet other than "no." Try turning away and ignoring pet when he/she displays this behavior. You can try bumping pet off of you with knee (not too hard). You may not need to use all these methods, but only a few. They will work just stay consistent with the method you choose.
